High speed gantry (Carbon fiber composite)

Developing innovative solution in CNC router market is a challenging task. There are just few pathes to choose from when manufacturer wants to improve speeds and accellerations. None of them are as sophisticated as creating lightweight and durable parts to replace traditional steel.

COMAGRAV uses the highest quality fibers from Japan and coils them with high structural rigidity. In NOTUS PLUS the carbon fibre gantry saves 76,1 kg from moving parts, where it is most important.
Deformation of the high speed gantry is 25% lower than deformation of standard steel gantry. It means the accuracy is now even better.
The gantry is more rigid than steel gantry, while it allows heavy duty applications, it adds great value in reaching excellent accellerations. To reach higher accellerations is impossible without adding power to servo motors, replacing motors with linear servos or lowering the weight. We have embarked on the path of weight reduction because we believe that this is the best way to streamline the machine construction and bring higher production efficiency to the user.
In addition, the carbon fiber technology allows us to25 build larger plotter formats, which is especially useful for ultra wide format printers and for industrial operations with the need to cut formats up to 5×5 meters.
